Biographical history
Nació en Concepción en el año 1900 y falleció en Santiago en el año 1991. Fue abogado, Presidente de la Corte Suprema de Santiago durante los años 1972 y 1975; nombrado miembro del Consejo de Estado de Chile (1976 - 1990), hasta su disolución, momento en que ostentaba el cargo de vicepresidente. Tras su jubilación se desempeñó también como abogado integrante en la Corte Suprema, hasta muy poco antes de su fallecimiento.
