Actor, director y profesor chileno, que destacó tanto en el teatro como el cine. Producto de la dictadura militar chilena se exilia en Venezuela. Gracias al gobierno venezolano realizaron una serie de giras internacionales. En la madrugada del 24 de diciembre de 1983, Héctor Duvauchelle fue asesinado.
