La Nación fue un periódico de circulación diaria publicado en Santiago de Chile. Fue fundado el 14 de enero de 1917 por el abogado1 y político liberal Eliodoro Yáñez, junto a los senadores Alfredo Escobar Campaña, Augusto Bruna Valenzuela y Abraham Gatica Silva. Era de interés general, con distribución nacional, y tuvo una edición bajo el formato semanario, llamada La Nación domingo (LND).
